The National Center for Families Learning staff provides professional development, online and onsite training, and technical assistance (TA) to the FACE staff. The Center-Based TA process consists of site visits from early childhood and adult education learning specialists. Conference calls are made between visits with FACE site staff in order to maintain open communication, ask questions, and discuss successes. The module videos allow for a quick tutorial on various aspects of the FACE program.
Opportunities are available through our website and webinars hosted by NCFL.
- Learning ModulesOnline Learning Modules are extended trainings for various elements of the FACE program and procedures. Many of these videos are recorded Webinars. Upon completion, you will be required to complete a survey and will receive a certificate of completion.
- Learning SnapshotsLearning Snapshots are 8-12 minute videos that aim to provide quick tips, brief introductions to online tools, or cover frequently asked questions about processes and procedures. These targeted professional development opportunities are ideal for brushing up on the basics and for expanding your educator toolbox. After completing a snapshot, please click out of the video and select the link for the survey. It will be your responsibility to track each module you have completed and submit the Learning Snapshot Tracker to the NCFL FACE team at the end of the school year to receive your certificate.
