My experience is that I opened up more. I learned to talk to a group. I used to be shy. Now I am open to everybody. It taught me what my grandma used to do. I told my family about the time I talked at the training, and they said it was a good thing. Everyone needs to have a voice. I am a voice in the FACE program now. We talk about what we are going to do each day. In adult ed we used to be in separate tables, but now we are all one group. Now we keep in contact with one another and ask one another how our families are doing… I learned to reach out to others.
